Admissions to IIM Indore's 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) is ongoing for the 2023 intake. The selection process involves an Aptitude Test (AT), also knowns as IPMAT-2023 and a Personal Interview (PI) stage.

The first three years of the program aim to establish a foundation in economics, management, psychology, sociology, political science, science, engineering, humanities, literature, and fine arts. The last two years of the program are at the post-graduate level, with IPM students taking the same courses as the PGP program students. Successful completion of the program will award a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. Students can withdraw after three years and will receive a BA degree.

The program has 150 seats and an additional five supernumerary seats for international/foreign applicants. The candidates must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria and score positively in each section of the IPMAT (Aptitude Test AT) to qualify for the Personal Interview (PI) stage. The final selection is based on a composite score with a 65% weightage for the AT and a 35% weightage for the PI.

The eligibility criteria include being born on or after August 01, 2003, or August 01, 1998 (for SC/ST/PwD category), having passed the Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023. International applicants must have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023, and have a valid SAT score of a minimum of 1300 out of 1600 (obtained during November 1, 2021, to June 15, 2023).

The IPM Aptitude Test consists of 100 MCQs split into three sections: Quantitative Ability (40 MCQs and 20 short answer questions in 40 minutes each), and Verbal Ability (40 MCQs in 40 minutes).  The Aptitude Test Score (ATS) counts for 65% and Personal Assessment (PI) for 35% towards the Composite Score (CS).

Applications open on 08-03-2023 and close on 14-04-2023, with the test scheduled for 16-06-2023 across multiple cities.

Note: From 2023 onwards, the intake for IPM Program offered at IIM Ranchi will also be based solely on IPMAT-2023 scores. Until last year the institute offered candidates the option of using SAT or IPMAT scores.
